# Creator Benefits

A creator cannot receive any tokens on creation, but may create an initial buy at the cheap starting price to start holding their own token. This is because the token will always be on the V3 “bonding curve” so all tokens must be initially sold through that.

Creators receive 33% of all trading fees. These are instantly withdrawable in Eth and tokens. Receiving trading fees rather than initial tokens encourages creators to keep users involved in their community and discourages dumping.
